Save America Rally DC: DC march, march organizers cancel plans due to severe weather

The organizers of the Save America rally in Washington, DC, have canceled their planned rally after severe weather forced a postponement.

The organizers posted on Facebook on Tuesday that the rally would go on as scheduled on Thursday but that it is now unclear when the event would be held.

“Due to extreme weather conditions and the need for a safe and secure venue, the Save American Rally DC will now be rescheduled for the following dates,” the statement read.

“This event will be held on March 6, 2019 at 8:00pm, at the US Capitol Complex.”

Organizers said that they would “take all necessary measures to protect the safety and security of all attendees.”

It was not immediately clear how the postponement would affect the March 5 march scheduled for the US capital.

The rally had been planned for Saturday.
