Trump Rally to Boost Energy Economy: A Boulder Event, But Not For the People

A rally in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday, March 15, 2019, is being billed as the first step in an energy transformation initiative that includes an energy-efficient car, energy-saving home and a solar panel installation.

“Our goal is to build a new American Dream,” said President Donald Trump, speaking at the event.

“We want to make America the shining city on the hill.”

Trump said the U.S. has the highest per capita energy consumption in the world, surpassing China’s.

The rally, titled “The Journey of an Energy Revolution,” was co-sponsored by the Boulder Climate and Energy Coalition and the Boulder Energy Institute.

Boulder’s mayor, Amanda Fritz, said the event was being held to bring together leaders and citizens to celebrate a movement that is working to transform the nation’s energy system.

“This is a great opportunity for the city of Boulder to showcase what the Boulder climate and energy coalition has been doing in support of energy efficiency,” Fritz said.

“It is an opportunity to show the world what the new Boulder climate is, and what the energy revolution is.”

Trump, flanked by his family and supporters, spoke about the importance of the energy transition in the United States, highlighting his administration’s energy policies, which include the construction of a Keystone XL pipeline, an offshore oil and gas drilling and a new coal-fired power plant.

“There are some people who have tried to tell you that the Keystone XL Pipeline is going to create thousands of jobs, and the Keystone pipeline is not going to be built,” Trump said.

“[The Keystone] pipeline is a mistake.

Trump has pledged to put the U,S. “

The only way we are going to get that energy, the only way that we’re going to have a carbon-free economy, is if we’re moving to an energy system that is sustainable.”

Trump has pledged to put the U,S.

energy transition on the national agenda in the coming months.

“A lot of people are really interested in this energy transition, and that’s because they know what we are doing to get to a carbon free world,” he said.
